The forgotten great actor

It's really a shame that Peter's career came to such a rocky path in the 80's and some of the 90's. He had it all: the looks, the talent and the unique blend of manliness, coolness and sophistication. Yet he started acting in some corny B-movies in the 70's and then even worse ones in the 80's. There were some exceptions of course, but after such a great start in the 60's, he could have done better. That's why I think the world forgot him, more or less. He just slipped out of the spotlight after "Dirty Mary Crazy Larry" I believe. Or maybe before that. He was so good in "Easy Rider", that last acid trip scene was so strong and he really was great. I wonder if he was really acting? Probably not. Still, it was a joy just watching him there. Luckily, he slipped back into the spotlight again and the good graces of Hollywood after "Ulee's Gold". That was also quite a performance. I wish him luck with his future projects and may he remain in good health for a long time on!

He was also great in "The Limey", I forgot to say. That ranks as one of his top performances IMO. Hail Pete!
