The one he's doing, a 60s music collection. He looks like he is on a lot of pills and just barely keeping it together.

Why do you think Thompson got so depressed during his trip to Vegas?
He realised Hippies where nothing but fakes, He was the first and last Hippie that was ever truly alive and stood for the cause in the first place.
