Not In New Twin Peaks
LFB was offered a role in the returning series but turned it down.
shareThis is a real shame because she was great in the original. As disappointing as this is I really can't blame her. Her career was over after her plastic surgeon ruined her face. She's still relatively young too, I feel sorry for her. At least she has done some good work and made millions for herself.
shareI'm surprised that any of the original cast members are back for another go-around. They must really need the money. I've read that many of the originals loved the concept but hated working for David Lynch.
There were times in the second season when they were working without scripts and Lynch was making it up as they went along. Several said it was like working in a lunatic asylum.
Most of my friends who have inferiority complexes are absolutely right.
Do you have a source for this info? Most cast members have reported nothing but praise for lynch.
shareI challenge you to cite a single source where a Twin Peaks actor said they "hated" working with Lynch... doesn't exist.
Comfort the disturbed and disturb the comfortable
I read somewhere she was trying to get a part in the new series. Any source to say she turned it down?
shareCast members repeatedly said in interviews how much they loved working with Lynch and that, "It was always best with David." (Sherilynn Fenn in the Twin Peaks doc). The complaint that many of them voiced about season 2 was that he wasn't there, since he was off shooting Wild At Heart and the series suffered because of it. Making up nonsense doesn't make you a news source.
shareHe wasn't shooting Wild at Heart during season 2. That movie was released in the summer between season 1 and 2. He was actually shooting Wild at Heart between the shooting of the Twin Peaks pilot and the season 1 first episode.
