Harvey Dent in TDR most underrated performance ever maybe

Especially in the sense that he was completely overshadowed by Ledger (he gave a GREAT performance no doubt, but it got a little overhyped)

I think Eckhart did a great job as Harvey Dent and has never really been given his fair due for it, but that's just me.

Aaron Eckhart is the unsung hero of "The Dark Knight". His powerfully tragic portrayal of the doomed Harvey Dent gets me every time.

yeah, Dark Knight was the first film I ever saw him in. When they first introduced his character I was fully prepared to hate/ignore him in what I thought was a stock Rachel's-DA-Boyfriend-Of-The-Week type of role, but by the end of the film I was blown away. I walked out of the theater loving him.

I always thought Gary Oldman gave the second best performance in the movie, behind Ledger.

Glad to know I'm not the only one who thought Eckhart did a wonderful job, it was very remarkable. There were no bad performances in this movie, but only Ledger and Eckhart really standout.

Eckhart really shined in his final scenes as Two Face, up until then he was very good but in those final scenes he was incredible.

"It's about whats fair" is probably my favortie line in the entire movie.

That was a great line, but my personal favorite is when the Joker tells Harvey "Do I really look like a guy with a plan?"

For a long time I didn't like Eckhart after the first movie I saw him in which was "In The Company of Men" where he plays an absolute scumbag.

He is a great actor, and probably should have gotten an Oscar nomination for The Dark Knight.
