Jeff Lynne and George Harrison were best friends. Lynne produced both Petty and Orbison. How did Dylan fit in?

I believe Tom Petty backed up Dylan in the 80s.

George Harrison and Bob Dylan had been friends and collaborators since the 60s. Jeff Lynne had produced Harrison’s recent album and was helping him with a B-side for the European release, they were in California and Dylan agreed to let Harrison use his garage studio.
