I know MC hasn't ported over every 'topic' from the old IMDB boards, but pretty amazing that not one new thread has been created about 'Divine' in the last 4 years?

I just got 'Female Trouble' on Blu-ray (great Criterion print & amazing extras) and came to the 'Divine' board (expecting to dive into endless topics about him) and found ....nothing.
The Blu-ray has loads of behind-the-scenes footage and outtakes (one in which, Divine actually puts his fingers down his throat.....in order to produce the vomit, prior to the scene were he pukes over his daughter) Now *that's* dedication!
It's a shame the transfer didn't include forums of many famous actors and artists, I can’t say I’ve watched many of his films (Only Hairspray) but enjoy this song, this extended cut is even better:

His earlier stuff with John Waters is borderline porn/trash cinema (and all the better for it) I'd suggest that if you ever decide give them a go....go backwards and watch 'Polyester' (which is slightly subdued) then 'Female Trouble' (which is very trashy) and 'Pink Flamingos' (which is just outright gross)
'Hairspray' is probably the last John Waters movie I really enjoyed.
