Judy on Trigger Warnings

Dench said in an interview with the Radio Times. “My God, it must be a pretty long trigger warning before King Lear or Titus Andronicus!” The Oscar-winning actor, 89, added: “I can see why they exist, but if you're that sensitive, don't go to the theatre, because you could be very shocked

Do they exist? Other than in interviews with celebrities, whether they work in entertainment or not, when they are prompted to give an opinion on such things (assuming they existed).

Anyone who has actually been to a theatre and had their experiences ruined by a "trigger warning" announced prior to the show, please leave a comment.

I see them on movies I watch on Amazon Prime. When the trend began I thought it would really annoy me. But it’s pretty low key on Prime and like the terms and conditions before an online purchase, they become so ubiquitous that you stop even seeing them. I heard a comedian talking about knowing he was in for a good movie based on the number of trigger warnings announced before it started.
