He's good at playing the introverted 'creepy' types

but severely lacks any charisma that would enable him to step outside the role of a jaded ex-boyfriend or 25 year old virgin obsessed with an unreciprocated love interest.

He reminds me of Anthony Perkins at times, but his portrayals leave me cold and he comes across as completely unsympathetic.

He is certainly consistent in playing the same character in every movie I have seen him in. Yes its annoying especialy since his dialogue is mumbled as if he were talking to himself.

You know it's funny I'm watching him in a movie now and I was thinking of how much he reminded me of Anthony Perkins. I came in here to see if anyone else thought so and here you are!

I agree with Darth.

Jeremy Boring lacks any real acting skill, and charisma, to step outside the creepy naunced weirdos he continually portrays in every movie I've seen him in.

Jeremy is unable to pull off good characterization outside of the "creepy" ones he's been doing, so it's not shallow to comment on his lack of range. Goodfellas and NBK's have nothing to do with Jeremy Boring either so I don't understand the analogy to characterizations in those flicks. If Jeremy was in either of them he'd suck; play the same type of character he's played in every other flick.
