He's my new fave on LOST.

I agree, I thought he was a good addition to the cast. It partly made up for some bad choices they've made with casting the newer characters.

What bad choices do you think they've made recently? I think the cast this season is perfect. Much stronger than previous seasons. The last bad casting choices I can think of are Nikki and Paulo.

i didnt think it was that nikki and paulo were badly cast, but the characters themselves were pretty ordinary

i just thought the actress playing nikki wasn't very good. some of her lines sounded very forced/fake

Daniel isn't my favourite character, definately the best new character though. Overall he's still up there with Ben, Sawyer and Desmond in my opinion

I can't think of any mistakes they've made with introducing new characters, apart from Nikki and Paulo. Everyone else has been very interesting - from Eko, Ana Lucia (I never understood all the hatred towards her) and Libby, to (especially) Desmond, Ben and Juliet, to Charlotte, Miles, Frank and Daniel. They made a big mistake IMO by killing off all the tailies (apart from Bernard) so soon, but that's a different story.

just watching lost and i have to say his acting with his constant hand gestures is really annoying me. i really want to just chop both his hands off at this point and then id like to see what his acting is like.

At first, his twitchy gestures bugged me but he seems to have toned it down..maybe he's more comfortable in the role now? And now I think he's the best of the new characters!
