Some other trivia/facts.
She is allergic to puffer fish. Once, when she was thirteen, she accidentally ate a fish cake with puffer fish meat in it and her neck swelled up to four times its normal size for a week.
She is a distant relative of British pop sensation Shakin' Stevens.
She used to play the ukulele in a South African Beatles tribute band, .
She has six toes on her left foot.
She is a devoted fan of British novelist and poet Alan Sillitoe (1928-2010), author of the classic The Loneliness of the Long-Distance Runner, and has long held an ambition to play the part made famous by Avis Bunnage in the eponymous 1962 film.
She used to have a pet Snub-Nosed Monkey called Melinda but he was lost in a tragic gardening accident when a leaf blower sent him flying into a mulching machine.

Embeth Davidtz first made the list in 1992 ARMY of DARKNESS & 1993 SCHINDLER'S LIST. And has rarely missed a year, including her recent arc on CALIFORNICATION.
While the list often has women who are Jewish, they are of many faiths & colors.
What they have in common is talent & really great smiles. . .. ;-)
