deserved an oscar nod for schindler's list

Absolutely. She was heartbreaking, especially in her scenes with Fiennes. It was a pretty weak year for the supporting actress category at the Oscars - only Rosie Perez even remotely worthy (and even she was, I thought, outclassed in her own film by Isabella Rossellini in a less showy but more memorable performance) yet they managed to overlook several wonderful performances, Davitz among them. In hindsight it's quite surprising that she didn't manage the nod, with the Oscars throwing nominations as a dull Winona Ryder and a barely there Holly Hunter.

I'm watching this on HBO right now, and I couldn't agree more. I remember seeing this many years ago and thinking the same thing. I can't believe she didn't at least get an Oscar nod for her performance.

I could have been an actor...but I wound up here... :)

She really was great. I loved her in Schindler's List.

If Sandra Bullock can win an Oscar for 'The Blind Side' then ... ANYTHING ... is possible!

Schindler's list was unfairly snubbed in the acting categories as a whole.

Ralph Fiennes and Liam Neeson should have won best actor and supporting actor in their respective categories meanwhile Ben Kingsley and Embeth davidtz should have been nominated.

Schindler's list is one of those films where the casting couldn't have been better, sometimes I wished this film would have been released in 2013 and compete at today's oscars.
