Timothy Dalton famously didn't get make a third James Bond movie, which is majorly disappointing considering one unofficial franchise rule.
Well, that "rule" is ridiculous. From Russia With Love is better than Goldfinger, Casino Royale is better than Skyfall and For Your Eyes Only is better than The Spy Who Loved Me...
Which is no more objective than this rule, but is certainly arguable.
- Goldfinger while great was not as good as From Russia With Love
- The Spy Who Loved Me while good was not as good as For Your Eyes Only
- The World Is Not Enough is towards the bottom of the franchise
- Skyfall is the only 3rd Bond film that is the actors best.
