Can't remember the interview but he did say it was like he was her child. That she constantly told him what to do and was always angry. He said something along the lines about why would anyone want to be married to someone that thought they were your mother? It was awhile ago, so not sure what interview it was

I knew a couple with the same dynamic. It was really brutal to watch.

Ahh, that sucks for David. I ended a 4 year relationship with a guy that was always telling me what to do and would get angry over little things. It was like living with an over barring father. And he would degrade and insult me if I didn't agree with him. You can only walk on eggshells for so long. If you can't be yourself with someone then you don't need to be with them at all.

But the flip side of it is, he did act like a friggen child. Why would anyone want to be married to a goofy immature manchild? She was probably hoping he'd grow up after correcting him, but apparently he's a person with no capability for growth and incapable of change.

I believe he was a drunk and also did drugs. She apparently stood by him and tried to support him for as long as she could. I think as soon as they broke up he cleaned himself up, which is par for the coarse it seems with most people

I don't think she ever really loved David to begin with and over the last 5 or 6 years or so of their marriage was just looking for a way out hence the rumored affairs that she had with her former co-stars Josh Stewart and Brian Van Holt.

Well, because that's who she married. Anyone who marries someone based on the possibility that one day they will teach that person how to act is in for a huge disappointment.
