She needs to leave her face alone and just undo everything!!

the way her face is going, you'll only want to dance with it in the dark

Funny but sad plus true.

The pressure to stay young looking.

Beautiful women are beautiful no matter their age (well, unless they get plastic surgery).

It's sad because she doesn't look younger at all She still looks like she's in her 50s except now she just looks weird. She wasn't even aging poorly. It's like she saw a few lines, freaked out, and then just went to the first surgeon in the phonebook and asked for the full monty, all the way. She looked really good. Shs did NOT need work. The only thing I could understand is a minimal amount of botox. MINIMAL. She didn't even need that, but if she had to do something, that would have been more than enough.

Women thinking that they can make themselves look 20 years younger are just delusional. You can't achieve that unless you just age well anyway and you already look 20 years younger naturally without getting nipped or tucked.

Aging can be difficult for everyone. But even more so if you're a woman (as, generally, evolution hasn't designed it so that men will be as attracted to less fertile females). And even worse than that if you've built a career on your looks and have had millions of people throughout your entire life complimenting those looks and classifying you as a sex symbol. As shallow as it may sound to some people, once that appearance starts to go, it can undoubtedly be devastating. It's like losing a vital piece of your identity.

It's no surprise then, really, that Cox or anyone else would make these sorts of choices. Especially considering she has plenty of money to do so. I can't really blame her for it (not that it's my business to, of course). If anything, I just feel bad for her that she felt the need to take such action in the first place. It's unfortunate but understandable.

I'd say if plastic surgery were more affordable, we'd be seeing faces like this on every street corner.

Really good post. Though I'd add with how cheap fillers have become in recent years we ARE seeing faces like this on every street!

I wonder the same thing.

Also. after all these years and with all these tech advances and they still can’t get plastic surgery to look decent?

reply

Same reason men buy sports car and screw 20-year-olds.

Loss of youth.

reply

True, both genders hate getting older. But be thankful.
