Big Question: Is Bill Cosby still considered a rapist?

Or is Cosby considered innocent?

reply

There was nothing in writing about any agreement for qualified immunity, which, as I understand it, any competent lawyer would have insisted upon for their client. The judge knew nothing of the agreement. The prosecutors apparently knew nothing of it. Neither did his defense lawyers, it seems.

A legally assembled jury heard the arguments and examined the evidence. They found him Guilty. I can't imagine that he is now considered Not Guilty.

Incorrect. The judge and DA completely knew about that agreement. Castor, as soon as new criminal charges were pending emailed the DA explaining this (all before the trial) so the DA was completely aware of the terms but went forward anyway. The Defense immediately brought this to the grand jury and/or trial even having Castor come in as a witness and the Judge (who ran against Castor as DA under the platform of convicting Cosby and lost) pretty much said Castor was an unreliable witness and used the deposition anyway. The defense fought to get that deposition out and the corrupt Judge allowed it. I understand that there can be an argument about not having it in writing but there was public statements made by castor and that was good enough; especially when a man's 5th amendment constitutional rights are involved. If the DA wanted to go against the word of the office and prosecute, fine...but they don't get to use the deposition. end of story.

As for the legally assembled jury...ha....The judge allowed a juror who supposedly already convicted Cosby before the trial started to remain in the pool. The whole case was a railroading.

In the eyes of the law Bill Cosby is considered completely innocent.. It depends who you ask in the court of public opinion.
