I doubt many people even know his name.... they just know him as Fredo.

It might be the mark of a great character actor, people remember the character rather than the actor, he completely disappeared into the role.
Shows that the award shows have always been a waste of time. How he was never nominated is ridiculous.

John Cazale, Fredo in The Godfather movies, was only in five movies before he died and all five of them were nominated for Best Picture Oscars.
