Was he really 6'2'
It says so in the mini-bio on the site, but he seems shorter than most of his co-stars in a lot of movies. Anyone know?

shareHe always looked very tall to me, and I was just thinking that 6'2" was shorter than I expected. One poster here says he was only 5'7". I wonder if that was intended as a joke.
Anyone know another site that designates heights for actors?
People age as they get older. He was a tall man in his younger years. In his later movies he was shorter.
shareIn the Grapes of Wrath group photo he certainly appears to be the tallest person in the group. He's wearing a hat, which makes the comparison a little harder, but he appears to be taller than Henry Fonda, who is listed as 6'1".
shareJust watched the Monster Club (1980) and Vincent Price had several inches on him... He may had been taller in his younger years, but as he aged, he shrunk a lot. He became very hunched over..
shareHunched over because of crippling arthritis. Price was about 6'3" and Carradine 6'2" when younger. Of course, Chris Lee was 6'5" but he knew how to bend over in low hall ways.
Truth is stranger than fiction, but fiction must make sense.
Chris Lee today is in the 6'1"-6'2" range at 90 years of age, but was once 6'5". That's what happens when you get older.
shareAnd btw, Vincent Price was indeed 6'4", not 6'3" in his prime.
