KUNG FU!
I knew John Carradine was a very respected actor but haven't seen much of his work. I really enjoyed him in an episode of Kung Fu! Now I want to see more of his work--luckily he's made more movies than anyone!

shareIf I remember it well, he took part in more than one episode of Kung Fu, and of course he was great in those, just like in anything else he was in. Hope you'll get to watch more of his work soon, since there's plenty of movies to choose from. He worked A LOT in the '30s and '40s, usually playing supporting characters, however, always stealing every scene he was in. I recently saw him in "Prisoner of the Shark Island" (1936), and I'm still impressed by his ferocious performance.

Thanks for the tip--I'll look for it!
shareHe's also very good as the sadistuc Jailer in "The Hurricane".
shareJohn was in some truly great movies, and also in some awful ones too. He worked incessantly and to him, work was work. But he never turned in a bad performance even in inferior material. I love his work and I'll watch anything with him in it.
