I've only seen 3 of her films so far. My ranking:
1. The Piano
2. In the Cut
3. Sweetie
i've only seen those three movies as well, but i'll include two of the shorts she has on the criterion channel.
honestly, i shouldn't even rate the piano. i haven't seen it since it was released, and all i can remember about it is that it bored me senseless. but...y'know, i was young and i had a lot of growing up to do. maybe i'd feel differently about it now.

No, I haven't seen Top of the Lake. I'm looking forward to her next film, The Power of the Dog as it is supposed to be really excellent. Based on what I have heard, I'm currently predicting her to win best director and the film to win best picture and maybe screenplay and/or one of the actors. Are you planning on watching The Power of the Dog when it comes out? And do you think it will be a major Oscar contender?
sharei haven't really looked into it yet, but i'll almost definitely catch it in the theatres. no idea as far as award prospects go...i'm kinda pulling for pt anderson to finally win. i know the reviews for licorice pizza have been great so far (95% on metacritic at the moment). that's a film i'm definitely hyped up for.

shareI read the novel Power of the Dog some time ago and by all accounts, it seems that Campion has done a good job of filming it. I'm looking forward to seeing it. To anyone unfamiliar with the novel but planning to see the movie, I would advise you to avoid spoilers beforehand.
