Never liked him, except ...

When I remembered back to seeing him as a kid in Brian's Song. He was great in that, but over time he just morphed into playing complete jerk characters.

James Caan and John Voight were two actors I just cannot stand, and as far as I know they both turned out to be unapologetic right-wing jerks.

I don't want to celebrate anyone's death, but of all the famous people who have died, James Caan is one of the ones I care the least about.

In the Novel, MISERY, Annie Wilkes takes an axe and cuts his foot off, then takes a blow torch and cauterizes the stump.. Also, the end with the struggle between the 2 and she falls and hits her head on that typewriter, then he finishes her off with that steal weight to the head, well, that's in the Novel, except when he thinks she's dead, he calls the Police and waits outside for them to arrive.. When the Police arrive, the go into the bedroom and Annie is gone and nowhere to be found. they searched the property and find her in the barn face down finally succumbing to her head wound while holding a chainsaw meant for Paul..

What is your problem. Someone dies and on the same day you make a post like this. What a sad and miserable life you must have to post something like this. Oh, that is right, when someone has a different political stance than yourself you instantly hate them and then when they present you with facts you say something like "Welcome to my ignore list," because they proved you wrong.

Holy Crap. Are you serious? I thought MC was suppose to monitor stuff like that. Did they for some stupid reason not get what was going on? That really sucks! Some time people just piss me off when they act like this.

Sorry to hear that mate. Thanks for the heads up. I will remain skeptical of this site until trash like the Emmet Till post you mentioned is cleaned up.

All his posts are negative like this. I recognize his user name. His life sucks so he tries to bring other people down with him on a movie message board. What a pathetic prick he must be.

What a miserable fvck you are.

They don't write jerks as protagonist anymore, that is why his passing should be mourned.

"Toxic" protagonist masculine characters that Mr. Caan, John Voight, Sean Connery and Gene Hackman often played hasn't been portrayed in film for quite awhile.

The "Hot-Head" is a character that has been reduced to film today as ~ The Hulk..and to me that is a sad thing.

Gene Hackman?

Hotheads are more palatable and politically correct as women these days. ;-)
