The Odd couple?

I can clearly remember seeing albert brooks in an episode of "the odd couple" from the early 70's. I don't remember seeing his name in the credits but I can remember seeing his charatcer (I think his name was rudi) who looked quite thin and had a bigger 'fro than we are used to seeing on albert. the episode was where felix got a job to photograph an ad for a company and I think albert's character was like and agent or producer or something. he was young and spoke like a young person would in the late 60's early 70's using expressions like "that is happening" or "now". not only do I remember it because it is one of my favorite tv shows but it was the only one I can remember where felix got into a physical altercation with someone. he get's angry at albert brook's character and pushes him down to the ground, knocking over a chair I think (so out of character for felix to get violent). the thing it I can't find it on albert's filmography here on IMDB. so now I"m questioning weather I'm correct or not. does anyone want to agree with me on this or does albert have a doppleganger, or perhaps I'm finally losing my mind.
