Pretty woman, but not gorgeous.

Lorraine is an attractive regular woman. A good catch for the average Joe. She's like a secretary for a law firm, school teacher or working woman. She has a matronly quality about her now that she's older.

OK, so what's your point. Not everyone on TV looks like a model. In fact that is why most models don't make it in acting because the public doesn't want to see perfect looking people 24-7. Most TV actors are average to above average in the looks dept.

Lorraine is not an "average" woman she is very, very beautiful - she was a model on the French catwalk - not something your average woman can do!
