Phillip Katz is a lowly ad copywriter who must return home to Florida to mediate his parents' divorce. While there, he is mistaken as the next Messiah by an ambitious reporter. Phillip is whisked away to a lavish hotel suite as politicians, reporters, and devout fans descend upon him, each hoping to exploit Phillip for their own purposes. After becoming the most famous man on the planet in less than a day, Phillip must decide whether to use his newfound celebrity to indulge his own selfish desires or to do some good in the world.
