How did they write her off after the first season of A Different World? I never watched it so was just wondering.

I read on wiki that she left the show when she got pregnant. Apparently, she was learning plenty about the birds and the bees, at school! lol
shareShe was fired from the show when she became pregnant. She went back on the Cosby Show briefly after that. They came up with storyline that Denise was traveling to Africa with a photojournalist.
