How the hell did Extant get a second season??

It did well online and Amazon pays CBS $$$ for each episode so it's quite profitable.

They are revamping things for season 2. Halle is wearing sexier clothes instead of cardigans and Jeffrey Dean Morgan is a better leading man than Goran Visnjic. Hopefully the plot moves faster too.

I didn't like the show either, but obviously a lot of other people do which is why it was renewed. Halle is smart to keep getting paid on a hit show. She isn't running around acting crazy like the Empire Cast. She's just quietly cashing her big ass checks. And THAT is the way to work the system. MILK it. She's well into her 40's now and she is not white. She has to take what she can get and make it last as long as she can. I applaud her for doing it.

I actually like the show and look forward to see the changes they made. I hated the husband! They had zero chemistry.
