I was taken aback by the depth and eloquence of Beals' performance in this mini-series, it made me wonder why she isn't offered meatier parts more often and generally isn't taken very seriously as an actress... although she has only a few very short scenes in this mini-series, she makes a very deep and lasting impression on the viewer's mind... a real "scene stealing" turn if ever there was one.

I honestly think that "The Feast Of All Saints" is one of the most underrated TV costume dramas of the 21st century, as well as one of the finest.
