I completely agree. First off no one knows what actually happened, and it's really none of our business. And secondly, I don't really think what happened seems all that terrible. It shouldn't be happening in a work environment, but honestly I'm a woman and have had much worse things happen with men. I'm not excusing it but - I also don't think we should condemn a talented actor on the basis of what two women have claimed.

People say he would only settle if he were guilty which is not true. He may have settled so that he could control the exposure of the story more, which threatens his career and his image, two very important factors to consider when you live so publicly.

And everyone is comparing him to Nate Parker. Which is nuts. Two very different allegations. We can talk about male white privilege all we want, and it is a real issue, I just think there's a lot more to the differences between the two situations. One involves rape, one involves calling women cows. Very different.

Just my two cents. I tend to not believe anything until there's proof. Especially in Hollywood. Money is a very intense motivator.

I will always defend a woman's right to speak up against abuse.

But this is obviously a rip-off and cash-in of two greedy young women

The people on here have all done what Casey did. Man or woman everybody has at some point ranted about the opposite sex. Everybody while drunk has made some kind of embarrassing move that a person wasn't receptive to. This is embarrassing behavior that no one would want broadcasted. Casey had the misfortune of publicity. The only reason the women said they felt threatened was because they were trying to get money and they had to say that in order for it to be a suit.
But I don't think the women were just greedy either. They wanted to leave the project but still get paid. That seemed unreasonable to Casey but because of his behavior he should have just paid them. Otherwise he wasted their time. They weren't letting him get away with that and sued...he paid them what they asked...you live and learn.. case closed.
