Paula Abdul has filed a lawsuit against Nigel Lythgoe, claiming that the American Idol and So You Think You Can Dance producer sexually assaulted her on two occasions.
In a statement released Dec. 30, Lythgoe called the accusations an "appalling smear," adding that the lawsuit is "untrue."
ABSOLUTELY!! Look, if my co-worker is female and she looks particularly gorgeous at work today, I will start up the conversation with her and tell her she looks beautiful and considering I know her she'll accept the compliment.. Not everyone has a stick up their ass and is always offended like you
Complimenting a woman on her appearance is 'caveman behaviour' and is now forbidden unless a) you're married to her, or b) you have written, signed, and witnessed consent. Pretty soon we won't even be allowed to notice they're women.
We are not allowed now.
This is why women are over doing everything: puffed out lips, stretched out eyelashes and finger nails, expanded butts and hips.... NOTICE ME NOTICE ME. they've literally brought this on themselves.
Oh, but I'm woman bashing by speaking facts, truth, and reality out loud that some don't want to face. Me bad.
What happens is that when people with a normal sense of common sense see people being accused of sexual harassment simply for complimenting a woman, we take all these claims with a healthy dose of skepticism, which is really too bad for the women who really are the victims of real sexual assault. There's a youtube video of a woman who was being arrested and while being cuffed yelled to the cop "you're raping me!!".
Was Abdul actually assaulted? Maybe, but since any perceived slight is now sexual harassment, the word has (like "racism"), lost most of it's meaning and impact.
My buddy's wife worked in HR before she retired, and two women complained about a guy who worked with them whose crime was passing them in the hallway and saying (literally) " 'morning girls" - "girls" now being sexually demeaning in today's more enlightened age.
“Gender violence” is a fashionable buzz phrase designed by California plaintiffs’ lawyers to attract maximum social media scrutiny and increase leverage for settlement money. Also notable is the fact that Abdul filed the lawsuit on these ancient allegations just 48 hours before being time barred by a statute of limitations previously extended via California’s Sexual Abuse and Cover Up Accountability Act.
Other signs that this is a frivolous lawsuit: she never reported anything to law enforcement or her employer despite the receptive #MeToo environment and she alleges “multiple sexual assaults” not just by show’s producer, but “other individuals including agents, employees and executives” while she was a judge on the TV show. Apparently we’re to believe everyone down to the catering crew was groping and molesting a celebrity and a star of the show.
She's clearly a very brave woman and must be believed!!!
Here's what bothers me though - my wife is easily what most people consider to be conventionally attractive. She's very outgoing and has a good size rack to boot. She was a school teacher and administrator for her whole career and I've met a lot of the people she works with. To say they are a group of frat boys is not being inaccurate. So what bothers me is that according to my wife, she has never been a victim of any kind of sexual assault. I'm not just bothered, I'm offended!
You’re lucky to have such a great lady. She sounds like a Marvel superhero so, perhaps the men at work were too intimidated (despite what we are told by our cultural leaders about men being incapable of controlling their caveman instincts around women).
