To be honest info is too scarce on her future roles to answer this with any certainty but going on the two films you said...

Collateral Beauty sounds like it will to be too focused on Will Smiths performance than any of the supporting players so I don't think it'll be that.

Lee Miller project could be the one but the movie has to be good or her role undeniable.

If she was still doing Lanthimos' new project I would've chose that though.

She needs to act with a big director again. The likes of Ang Lee or James Cameron.

I really don't think she made very smart choices in the past decade. She could have been in The Departed (the studios wanted Kate or Hilary Swank for the part of Madolyn, played by Vera Farmiga - Leo wanted Kate for the part too) and Inception (but Kate declined the role of Mal, which then went to Marion Cotillard). Both Departed and Inception were Oscar nominated for Best Movies of the year and won multiple oscars.

But Kate instead went for clunkers like All the King's Men (2006), and what else did she do in 2009? Nothing much. Oh, then she made Contagion. Meh. She's definitely not averse to playing supporting roles in all star casts. So what stopped her from pursuing the parts in Departed and Inception? smh. Those movies would have plumped up her resume so much more. They would have been her biggest box-office hits and critically acclaimed movies since Titanic. Also, Kate would have had the opportunity to build a working relationship with Scorsese and Nolan. Directors like to cast actors that they've worked with before.

If she's wary about acting in a movie with DiCaprio, unless it is a movie that focuses on their relationship, then it's going to be a long wait to find the right material.

Well in 2009 , after her oscar win, she obviously decided to try to save her marriage who was crumbling down. She deliberately decided to not work, and to slip under the radar as she felt she had been too overexposed during the award season.

Personally, i can't see anyone other than Vera Farmiga in the Departed. And i think that it was Scorcese, who at one point, thought it would not be a good idea to have both Kate and Leo in the movie, and decided to go with an unknown actress.

As for Inception, well she said she didnt see herself in the role. So i understand that she turned it down, even if ,of course, it would have been very interesting careerwise.

On another note, since Steve Macqueen next movie is about 4 female characters ( and probably very interesting ones)i hope she would be at least considered for one of them.
