It looks like Michael has joined a brand new European drama-series.

‘Veni Vidi Vici’ combines the best storytelling with top Nordic talents Thomas Bo Larsen, Rafael Edholm and Livia Millhagen together with Canadian actor Michael Wincott.

The 10-part drama series explores the consequences of struggling Danish film director Karstan Daugaard’s decision to take a job in the adult entertainment industry. Daugaard, played by award winning actor Thomas Bo Larsen (‘The Celebration’; ‘Follow the Money’), is soon confronted with the industry’s darkest aspects and forced into a double life that endangers his whole family.

Along with Thomas Bo Larsen, ‘Veni Vidi Vici’ brings together leading Nordic talent such as Rafael Edholm (‘Mörkt vatten’), Livia Millhagen (‘Buss till Italien’) and Michael Segerström (‘Darling’; ‘Spring Tide’). Canadian actor Michael Wincott (‘24: Live Another Day’ and most recently part of the acclaimed HBO drama ‘Westworld’) is also part of the ‘Veni Vidi Vici’ cast.

The series is written by Rafael Edholm and Santiago Gil (‘Love is a Drug’), with Edholm as producer. Production starts in late 2016.

It's funny that the director and co-star of Veni Vidi Vici is Rafael Edholm, the same person who, back in 2008, was going to direct an untitled drama/thriller co-written with (and starring) Michael.

Hopefully, this collaboration will breathe new life in that project, too.
