Didn't you Wesley haters love it when he was hunted down like a dangerous criminal?

I'm talking about The Game, with the little headsets running the psychotropically addictive videogame that has everyone, including Picard, glued to them, and they have to disable Data early on to stop him figuring out the trap.

I just love that shot when Wesley is the only one left and the entire rest of the crew are hunting him down, and that shot of him being frogmarched onto the bridge by Riker and Worf must be pure bliss for you lot. It's like they were going to hang him right there!

I remember being pretty "neutral" on Wesley when I watched this show as a kid. I was 7 when the show started and 13 when it ended, so you'd think that his character was aimed at younger audiences. I remember not really minding at all when episodes excluded him or when he left the show entirely, but I didn't really "hate" him either. I think because he was a few years older than me, he didn't seem quite like a "kid" to me, but more like a young adult. I had a similar reaction to Jennifer Connelly in LABYRINTH and it never clicked for me that she was just a teen in the movie until I was in my 20's.

But I clearly remembered that episode (Ashley Judd was also in it, right?) and it was one of the better Wesley-focused episodes and kinda cool to be ushered into taking his side against all the other characters you liked better since they were all being mind-controlled.
