I know some say he wasn't the most sensitive guy as a teen, but that response to the little girl's tremulous question struck me as the real measure of the man he is. He is now my hero.
shareI loved his answer. But my kids would get their ass kicked, if I explained that to them. I wish I could live in his world, but in my world, kids need to fight back. It's too bad, but thats life. If you cant punch the bully in the face, you better be able to buy someone who will.

shareOMG! That little girl's sister was my student this past school year, and she told me about that moment between Wheaton and her little sister. I looked it up on You Tube and was so impressed just like you. It thrills me, as it would her, that you saw it and posted about it here. He's my hero now, too.
