Clearly misguided view of Christianity

While its nice to see he has a strong interest in the life of Jesus Christ, hes really going about it all wrong. he thinks of Jesus as a man but not as God. has he read the Bible? yes you cant "prove" faith. thats why its called faith! you either have it or you dont. he really doesnt seem to. Jesus without the holy spirit is like a tooth brush without the toothpaste! theres no point. so his views on Jesus are completely obscured. The apostles died some HORRIBLE deaths for what they believe in, all of them. you think someone would be willing to die such a horrible way for something they didnt truly believe in or witness? theres plenty more evidence Jesus is God then there is that he was "just a man". I guess i shouldnt be surprised by this for a guy who loves to shoot extreme violence and sex scenes. frankly i was shocked when i found out he had such an interest in Christianity, even if those views are false.

Realism and Remakes are ruining movies!

I don't really get your point. He is interested in Jesus Christ as a person, not as a God. While it is debatable whether Jesus was a God (or the son of God) it is most certainly not debatable whether Jesus Christ was a living being, walking this earth. And it is this Jesus Christ that Verhoeven is interested in: the 'person' and the things this person did on earth. Because even if Jesus Christ wasn't a God, or some other holy being, he was most certainly an interesting fellow.

On this topic, I suggest reading through my debate. I wonder what your thoughts are on what I have to say.

You sound like a total retard. Do you also believe in dragons and unicorns by any chance?

So you know Jesus personally, how can you say he's wrong and your right. The bible isn't proof of anything and even if it was doesn't automatically make your interpretation true and his false.
