His reaction on Robocop (2014) ?

I would love to know about his thoughts on the remake of his sci-fi classic.
While being a fan of the original Robocop, I have to admit that I really liked the new one.

I read an article about it, and his reaction was that he couldn't connect with the remake at all and was very disappointed with it.

As a general rule, any sequel/remake to a Verhoeven original is doomed to either box office disappointment or DTV relative anonymity.

Not that I have a problem with this. It makes him even more unique! No one can fill his shoes and many have clearly tried.
