I think this will be a smart career move. He has done a handful of bad/terrible movies in the past 5 years which I believe is his fault for letting himself get typecast. I do however believe him doing TD with Colin Ferell will do wonders for him as it will show us a different side of his acting skills which i do believe he has. Excited for it.

I'm glad to see him in a serious role finally after so long of being in awful comedies. I hope this revives his career and he chooses to do dramas again. McConaughey, did lame romantic comedies for a long time before finally going back to dramas, and he has done great stuff since then.
shareI had NO interest in watching this show until I saw the recent trailer for season 2 w/VV.
Now I just started watching season 1 to be ready for season 2 next month.
VV has really slimmed down some for this show. Has looked overweight since Wedding Crashers imo. Not anymore.
Can't wait to see him in TD.
