Why would anyone be proud of being from a POS state like Illinois?

shareI'm from Illinois and I'm super proud! There is so much rich architecture, museums, art. We have a beautiful skyline in the city and a breathtaking lake. The suburbs and city have wonderful schools and we've had numerous politicians, athletes, actors, musicians, designers, artists, etc come from Illinois. Why may I ask do you see Illinois as a "POS state" ??

shareI hate when people say this about New Yorkers. People come to our state from all over and we welcome them. I was born and raised here and love every state in my country. I think you are referring to Republican states. Which by the way I am neither party.
