Maybe she did not find it humiliating at all. It may have been fun for her to play a very different kind of character. It is not so unusual. Many actors and actresses have dressed as the opposite sex for a role.

I agree. It was probably really fun to play someone she has neva done before. And everyone wanted a role in friends and she got one of the best most memorable characters

Are you mad she was great in it, her scenes with her "wife" Morgan Fairchilds were absolutely hilarious

Apparently you don't understand how acting works... see... it's ... you portray people that you aren't... sort of like the way you're acting intelligent by dragging up a 10 year old part, what, four or five years after the show went off the air?
Then there's the part where it would be kind of anti-intuitive to take a part that you found humiliating, wouldn't it?
What's probably pretty humiliating is being you... can't act your way out of that one though.

actually to me, her guest appearance on friends was the most memorable one. there's nothing humiliating about that. i mean, she knew that she was going to portray a transexual. i think humiliating is what they do on reality shows

I think her guest spot was hilarious, this is the same woman that was sexy Jessica Rabbit and femme fetale in Body Heat. Also, it's Chandler's worst nightmare, it takes a lot of confidence for a woman to play a man.
