filming provocative scenes at 14

How exactly do they do that? I must be from a strange place I knew about sex when round 14 and was grossed out by the idea of pain and disgust for years. obviously my past is very different and conservative.

the sex scenes(there was orgasm!), and looking slutty. how the hell did she do that? I almost feel like people took advantage of her.

I'm guessing that you will be interviewed on your sex life before and she's not likely a virgin then. not that anything is wrong with that but men everywhere were/are lusting after that girl who was mentally unprepared

I doubt many 14/15 year old understand what they are projecting that is why we have adults to look out for teens.

:(

older girls can always play young teens, so many young looking ones

Since no one has answered your question, I will.

I don't know if you've seen that version of Lolita or not.

They did use a body double who was 18 for certain shots in Lolita. They were very protective of her during filming, and her parents were on set the whole time.

She and Jeremy Irons had a pillow between them whenever she was sitting on his lap.

And trust me, kids as far back as when I was in Jr High (this was in the very late 70's early 80's) were already having sex, not all of them of course (I never did), but some are. I'm not saying it's right for kids to have sex at that age, but they do. It is a HUGE shock when you go from the overprotected environment of grade school, to Jr High, where the kids are smoking, having sex, ect.

Wasn't she like 17 when filming Lolita?

Fool is the man whose madness does not mach the madness of most.

I think I was 16 at the time, and I know she was younger, 15 probably. I'm sure she was younger because I was surprised that she was actually younger than me.

reply

She was born in August of '80 and the film was released in Sept of 98 so it all depends on how long it took to film and get to the screen.

But what's the point? I presume parental consent was required (Blue Lagoon fer instance...) I knew no one that didn't know about sex by the time we got out of grammar school and that was in the sixties. We're not talking performing sex acts here...we're talking acting, remember.

She was 14, and turned 15 during filming. It took a few years for the movie to get released. Due to the controversial nature of the story, a lot of studios didn't want to touch it. It finally was released on ShowTime in 1998.

edit: Upon retrospect, 'sounds parallel to Sue Lyon and the '62 version of Lolita.
