Streep to portray Marie Tussaud

JUST READ THIS IN VARIETY!!!!

In the first co-production effort between Hollywood and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea Maryl Streep will portray Marie Tussaud, the 18th century French wax modeling artist who famously collected discarded heads from the Guillotine in order to replicate them; and then went on to found the famous Madame Tussauds wax museum in London. Word has it that Streep will not only portray Tussaud but also various historical figures and celebrities who posed for her including Benjamin Franklin, Napoleon and Harriet Tubman.

Sounds like another Oscar nomination to me!

I'm going to guess that the average wax figure in Madame Tussaud's has a greater grasp of economics and logic than the average Hollywood "liberal."

I also heard that Streep has a contract to serve as the model for all upcoming celebrity wax sculptures at Tussauds. What an honor! And what a great business decision! Now that she's entering her dotage she no longer has to walk or talk or remember any lines. Way to go Maryl!
