Kolchak the Night Stalker
Tom Skerritt claims he doesn't remember filming the episode he was in. How is that even possible? Doesn't he get still get residuals?

sharemaybe just because of old age?
shareSkerrit has had very few notable roles compared the bit parts he has played ... I'm not surprised in a long career spanning decades in which he probably was not always acting that he would not remember every role. The Night Stalker was a very forgettable series. It was basically a series they made on the strength of a made for TV movie, or perhaps it was meant to be a pilot, but the pilot was OK, at least for the kid I was when it debuted, but I doubt I could sit through more than a few minutes of it today. I believe for actors in this class they participate in a lot of stuff that never sees the light of day, or it if does very few people see it. TV streaming is an attempt to give all of that garbage some kind of legitimacy on the strength of the fact that a small minority of things are overlooked gems. So now we have megatons of Night Stalkers whose main purpose is to disguise the ounces of good TV so that streaming services can suck up our money in monthly service fees. There is a lot of "profit slop" just because of the nature of the business model in "subscription fees".
When I think Skerrit I think "Alien" and "Brothers and Sisters" ... what do you think of him as?
