Everyone's views of being a successful actor are different. Tom Selleck found his success on television and there's nothing wrong with that.
shareHis big-time movie career never really took off, but he's been working steadily in television for half a century. Seems pretty successful, to me. One thing that probably held him back was not sharing most of Hollywood's leftist ideology. The fact that he's managed to keep working shows that there's a strong demand for his work, anyway.
