Somehow I think he's got Irish in him too. I thought with the dark hair and good looks he might have some Italian in there also. He's got a home in Scotland so maybe he's got Irish and Scottish.
shareWell the last name Selleck is a derivative of the name Sellick, which is English in origin. His mother's maiden name was Jagger which can also be English, but can have Austrian, Dutch and German origins as well.
Of course this doesn't take into account the maiden names of his grandmothers, etc.
If you read his bio right here on IMDb, it says he is English with a little German.
