Magnum

I was 13 years old when Magnum premiered on network television in 1980. My question is did Tom live in Hawaii during the Magnum run?, because I know from the time frame of 1983 to 1988 he starred in quite a few films, most notably 1987's Three Men and a Baby. Tom was on fire in '87, having a hit movie, getting married, a hit T.V show, starring alongside Frank Sinatra for the then popular episode Laura with the 9 minute version of Genesis Tonight Tonight Tonight being a main seller. ( I remember by '85-6, it wasn't quite up to shows such as Cosby, Family Ties and Miami Vice). I can't believe Tom is 70 years old when he was just 35 years old when Magnum P.I first hit the airwaves. Thank You.
