Jesse Stone fans’ prayers have been answered — after a three-year break, the popular Jesse Stone TV movie franchise will resume with its signature star, Tom Selleck, on a new network, Hallmark Movies & Mysteries. Hallmark has picked up Jesse Stone: Lost In Paradise, a ninth movie in the detective series, which is in pre-production in Halifax, Nova Scotia for a fall 2015 premiere. The previous eight movies aired on CBS, which opted not to order more after No. 8, Jesse Stone: Benefit Of The Doubt, despite its respectable premiere viewership, 13 million.

Yes, lets hope for many more Stone movies!!!
I enjoy "Blue Bloods", but after "Magnum", I liked Tom Selleck best as Jesse Stone. I tried to read Robert b. parker's Stone novels, but the movies are superior.

I'm pleased to see that Jesse is still going. I've just watched the first 7 in the series in sequence and have enjoyed the, I'm due to see 'Benefit of the Doubt' next Friday. I might have to wait to see 'Lost In Paradise.' Although I have seen some 2015 TV movies on the Jesse channel just lately. So here's hoping it will be coming sooner than I think.
