Tom Selleck is a fairly good actor, with good looks. He's worked hard, had a long career in Hollywood. Aged well, seems pretty benign, doesn't ever speak out on anything controversial. So why the hell are about a third of the threads on his board, dogging him on some issue?
Geez, I always thought he was a well liked actor, who had plenty of support.

sharePeople with not anything else better to do than put someone down to make their miserable lives seem important. Tom Selleck is a good man, a good actor and, they all can see by the list of movies and shows, has kept busy.
shareThat's the conclusion based on what? If you post a negative review of an actor, it means you have a miserable life and have nothing better to do? Well I could say the same; that people who spend time on imdb to praise, means they have nothing better to do.
He or she have a right to their opinion. They are saying that the high number of posts are attributed to nasty, miserable lives. That maybe one answer but here's a thought, why would you take the time to denigrate someone's seemingly benign answer?

Best answer I can give is gun control... Whilst I may disagree with him on the issue, he still seems the sensible type, and appears committed to the NRA more because he was buddies with Charlton Heston than anything else... so I'm perfectly willing to overlook it. Seems like some other people can't just have a friendly disagreement with somebody.

Because liberals are the most intolerate people alive. They can't just disagree on an issue, they have to insult, denigrate and destroy.
I have political differences with most actors\actresses but I try to be objective and judge their professional and private lives seperately. Just they may have voted for every Democrat since McGovern doesn't mean I can't enjoy their wofk as an actor. Selleck is one of the few openly conservative actors and some people simply can't stand it. But they have no problem with the other 95% liberal actors.
