Scott is the master,
Blomkamp only a talented 1-hit-designer from South Africa who still needs to show that he can direct films on a big scale.
"District 9" was great because it had an awesome concept and was inventive.
Without that his style becomes empty very fast.
He's not good with real actors: S. Weaver gave one of her worst performances ever in "Chappie".
When Sir Rid releases every 2 years a prequel film, starting in 10/2017, then he'll be ready in 10/2021.
Blomkamp can wait 6 years and try to come up with a good concept, not revisionist crap.
He should watch Scott and learn.
