Stay away Damon Lindelof

As long as Damon Lindelof stays away from writing this, the film will be a visual masterpiece because Ridley still has that in him. Depending on the script, this could make up for the luke warm Prometheus.

Lindelof has continually soured all that he touches. Brilliant directors have had some of their weakest projects come to fruition because of what he has written for them. Even Jon Spaihts had his fine work tarnished but this well connected, mediocre talent.

The new writer of Alien: Paradise Lost is John Logan (Gladiator, The Aviator, Penny Dreadful, Skyfall, Spectre).

I think Damon Lindelof gets a back rap. His contributions to Prometheus were tremendous, but he isn't that great with character and dialogue, yet. John Logan is stage-trained and will probably focus on character.

Thanks for the info. I haven't seen Spectre yet but Mr Logan's resume looks stellar. I have hope for this film now!

Scott did not like Spaihts' Aliens rehash script so he hired Lindelof because he wants Prometheus to be surreal and mysterious like Lost.
