Potential Davos Seaworth -- Game of Thrones casting

It seems that Tim would make a good Davos Seaworth for the HBO fantasy TV series Game of Thrones.

A brief description:

Lord Davos Seaworth of the Rainwood, Admiral of the Narrow Sea, commonly called the Onion Knight, was once a smuggler, but became a landed knight and Stannis Baratheon's most honest and loyal supporter. He captains the Black Betha, his old smuggling ship. He has several sons who serve as captains of their own ships or as officers on his ship. His wife tends his lands on the Cape of Wrath. The sigil of his house is a black ship with an onion on the sails upon a grey field. He was named Lord of the Rainwood and Admiral of the Narrow Sea upon being made Hand of the King to Stannis.

What do you guys think? Would Tim be interested in doing a big budget TV series ? It's not a minor role nor is it a main character.
