One of the worst 'actors' working today

A complete waste of time. Terrible actor, especially when he employs that dire American accent.

Like that Hugh Laurie, he's a load of rubbish too.

So if you hate him so much...why did you waste the time coming here to be called a troll and not taken seriously?

He, and Hugh Laurie for that matter, are fantastic actors in my opinion. But hey - that's just me.

He is a great actor, are you mad!
And he does a fine American accent in Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction.

One of the better actors around.

Its that man again!!

OP is a complete and utter idiot. Tim Roth is an amazing actor and early in his career one of the things that got him noticed was his amazing talent to change his accent. He is especially good at the american accent

"But I'M the "Bay Harvard Butcher!!!"

reply

Disagree...will watch anything with Roth

reply

Agree with scoup and op is just a run of the mill troll.

I happen to think he's one of the better actors going but that's in itself is not what drew me to respond to this post.
My issue is with the assertion by 'hooligan19' that these boards are simply a repository for the praise of fans. This is a place for film discussion and there is a due place for criticism.... indeed I would argue that these boards would be rather meaningless without it (to say nothing of dull). While I certainly appreciate that spouting off for the simple sake of eliciting a reaction is not in keeping with the spirit of the boards, there is an inherent danger of going too far the other way with it. On the surface it appears likely in this poster may well fall into the aforementioned 'spouting off' crowd'. Pragmatically speaking on the other hand, it's quite the jump to really draw any meaningful conclusions from the limited information he/she provided. Admittedly, the lack of elucidation itself tends to point in the direction of 'spouting off' but that observation notwithstanding, there are other possibilities. For example, the OP may be genuinely interested in what other people are seeing in Tim Roth that he/she has failed to. Again, this is seemingly less likely than 'he's just a troll' but it's just one of many other possible explanations. There is line which must be crossed before one should be called out as being inappropriate or even simply pointless. Exactly where that line lies is murky at best, and I most assuredly make no claims of authority on the matter. That being said, I feel very comfortable in saying that the OP has far from breached it.
