What is up with british people teeth?

Why do almost all british people I know have bad teeth. It is like they don't believe in oral hygiene at all. I know there are dentists in the U.K I have seen the commercials. Yet they have really bad teeth. British celebrities include: Estelle (singer), Tim Roth (actor), Ricky Gervais (actor), and the list goes on. I almost died of horror watching V for Vendetta when they kept closing in on the Leader of the government teeth. All those gaps and black spots. Ugh!!! Please use a toothbrush. No excuse in 2009!

No opinion on teeth, but for the most part, the English people (in my opinion), aren't very good looking.

Take a look at the English version of "Antiques Road Show" some time. Very common and plain looking people. No one stands out as good looking.
